Beta Testing Threshold
Before You Test The House
This invitation-only review is for named adults. You are helping us discern whether the House feels clear, safe, beautiful, and useful.
Please test the experience as a first-time walker, not as a feature auditor. The question is simple: does the website lead naturally to the Threshold, does the Threshold prepare you to enter, and does the House help you return?
What To Test
Four signals matter most.
Clarity
Do I know where I am?
Notice any place where the next step is unclear, the language is too dense, or the website-to-House transition feels abrupt.
Emotional Safety
Does it stay bounded?
Watch for anything that feels too intimate too soon, clinically confusing, spiritually coercive, or heavier than the House can hold.
Usefulness
Did one thing help me return?
A sentence, a practice, a Keeper reply, or a simple sense of orientation is enough signal.
Friction
Where did I hesitate?
Name slow moments, repeated decisions, setup confusion, awkward copy, or places you wanted a simpler button.
Known Boundaries
This is a bounded beta.
Please do not evaluate what is intentionally outside the launch journey.
This candidate exposes all ten named Inner Weathers—including Numbness under the global low-demand rules—and all five rooms of the House: Today, Practice, Companion, Becoming, and Together.
The Beta One Crucible and Circles continue under their own relational covenant in Appendix I. Joining a room never moves private Returns or Inner Weather into it. The Crucible’s separately consented Mantel sharing remains closed until its release evidence is complete, and Circles do not receive it. Inner Weather practices and empirical claims remain held. Personal Keeper contact is permitted only within a practitioner-chosen rhythm and remains fail-closed until its readiness evidence is complete. The local Companioned Walk is additive—not a replacement for Together—and also remains closed until Condition 9 is complete. Nothing here should be tested with a minor or used as crisis care.
The Five-Minute First Walk
Do this first, before exploring.
- Enter the House.
- Confirm that you are 18 or older and use the safe defaults: session-local memory and live Keeper off.
- Open Movement One and read the first available threshold.
- Open Inner Weather and choose the kind of care that fits before naming content.
- Enter Together and inspect the consent and privacy boundary of the Crucible and Circles.
- Send feedback as soon as something is clear, confusing, unsafe, or worth preserving.
Human Help First
Some moments should leave the screen.
If testing surfaces self-harm, danger to someone else, overdose, severe withdrawal, abuse, or the feeling that someone cannot stay safe, the right outcome is not deeper House use. The right outcome is human care.
That is part of what you are testing: whether the House knows when to step back.
